Reservations Agent (full time, permanent)

Our small, friendly reservations team is looking for a new Booking Agent to work from our offices in Albury, near Guildford. We’re looking for flexible, energetic and diligent people, with some knowledge of the travel or tourism industries.

On Board Steward (volunteer)

Our on board team are looking for new volunteers to assist with the operation of the doors and meeting and greeting passengers on our trips.

You can choose the days and locations which suit your availability so the role works for a variety of schedules and lifestyles. Ideally you would have experience in a customer-facing environment or in the rail industry with a commitment to excellent customer service and a passion for all things steam!

About the company, The Steam Dreams Rail Co.

We run 50 charter steam trains and 3 holidays by steam every year and we couldn’t do that without some seriously talented people. We have a team of staff who are passionate about running steam trains on the main line and providing great days out and holidays to our passengers.

We’re a small team, so everyone turns their hand to avariety of tasks; from taking bookings and general admin, from marketing tofinance, we all throw ourselves in with energy and enthusiasm. We have carparking at our offices in Albury (there are local buses, but most choose todrive) with a small shop, post office and lovely pub nearby.
